The Gist: We’re over it. The scroll, the performative perfection, the influencer overload. Moms want real: real life, real wellness, and real income—without selling their soul or sanity. This blog is where we cut the crap and build what matters.

Welcome to Cut the Bull

You’re not here by accident. You’re here because you’re sick of the noise.

The Pinterest-perfect homes that somehow stay spotless despite children.

The 12-step skincare routines pushed by 23-year-olds who’ve never had a toddler sneeze into their eyeball.

The endless content scroll that somehow makes you feel less, not more.

You’re craving something that actually matters.

So am I.

I’m a homeschooling mom of two wild children. I run two businesses from a jelly-covered laptop. And I’m still trying to remember to write in the journal thats been sitting in my kitchen drawer for...too long now. I don’t have time for B.S.

I want wellness that works, a home that functions, and a life that makes my soul sing (or at least hum slightly off-key).

We’re Not Buying the Bull Anymore

Let’s be honest—there’s too much noise. In today’s digital world, we’re bombarded with “must-try” hacks, conflicting advice, and lifestyle expectations that don’t align with real life.

The result?

We’re burnt out.

According to a Deloitte study, 53% of women say their stress levels are higher than last year, with nearly half feeling regularly burned out (Deloitte, 2022).

A recent Gallup poll reported that 62% of women struggle to prioritize their own health, blaming time pressure and overwhelm (Gallup, 2024). Meanwhile, 74% of women have felt so stressed they’ve been unable to cope at some point (Mental Health Foundation, 2023).

And the McIndoe Centre calls this the “cycle of overwhelm”—do too much, crash, guilt trip yourself, and repeat (McIndoe, 2023).

Sound familiar?

We don’t have time to sift through fake perfection and endless “tips.”

We need wellness that’s truth, not trend.

Living With Intention (Even If You Don’t Have a 5-Year Plan)

Living with intention doesn’t mean you’ve got everything mapped out next to your Himalayan salt lamp.

It means knowing what matters—and being bold enough to say no to what doesn’t.

It means putting your kids first—but yourself a close second.

It means holding boundaries, deleting TikTok, and keeping chickens in the backyard if you want to.

It means more peace, less pressure. More presence, fewer algorithms.

You don’t need more stuff.

You need more stillness… more clarity… and maybe a better planner.

This Blog Is for You If You’ve Ever Thought:

  • “Why does this feel so fake?”

  • “Give me the real stuff - not the fluff.”

  • “I’m not made for this hamster wheel of busy.”

Then welcome.

You’re in the right place.

At Cut the Bull, we’re not here to perform—we’re here to:

✅ Make healthier, simpler choices without obsessing

✅ Build businesses that pay the bills (and buy the nice oat milk)

✅ Say no to hustle culture and yes to peace

✅ Take up space without apology

✅ Laugh at the mess, cry when needed, and get back up anyway

Let’s Cut the Bull Together

This is your safe space to think, simplify, and rebuild your wellness from the inside out. Whether you’re here for practical tools, real wellness, income tips, or quiet rebellion against the scroll—you’re one of us now.

And I’m really glad you’re here.

Let's connect. I would love to say hello.
